Glamorgan captain Jacques Rudolph believes the Welsh county\'s stunning win over Surrey was a huge confidence booster.
Rudolph guided Glamorgan to victory with a solid 34 not out after Timm van der Gugten had ripped through the Surrey top order, taking 4/14 off 4 overs.
And the South African said it was great to see Glamorgan put in a complete performance with bat, ball and in the field as the visitors stunned a packed Kia Oval by clinching an eight wicket win.
It was Glamorgan's fourth successive T20 victory away at Surrey.
Rudolph said: "The last two years we've come down here we've had very good performances, and as far as clinical performances that's as good as you're going to get.
"Our bowling was outstanding and Timm van der Gugten again was unbelievable and we backed it up well with the batting.
"Surrey's top three batters can be very dangerous, I continuously tried to attack and get wickets, and it's nice to get some confidence in the dressing room."
Glamorgan now have the luxury of welcoming South African quick Dale Steyn into their side, to add yet more pace to the bowling attack.
And Rudolph admitted he was excited about joining up with his former teammate, with Steyn set to make his debut at The SSE SWALEC, in Cardiff, on Wednesday.
"As far as I'm aware Dale Steyn is very keen to play on Wednesday (against Essex), Timm van der Gugten has shown with a bit of extra pace the kind of X-factor we need in our team. With him and Dale in the same team, we can be really excited about that."
