The itinerary for the popular evening talks in the CC4 Museum of Welsh Cricket at Glamorgan's headquarters at the SWALEC Stadium has been finalised with a full programme of speakers each month from August 2014 through to March 2015.
The talks will commence in the first week of August with a special presentation about the life of Maurice Turnbull, Glamorgan's captain during the 1930s who was tragically killed in Normandy during August 1944. The talk in the Museum will take place shortly after the 70th anniversary of his death in action with the Welsh Guards, and will pay tribute to the man who in 1930 became Glamorgan's first-ever Test cricketer.

Thursday, August 7th, 2014 - Remembering Maurice: Club Archivist and Museum Curator, Andrew Hignell takes a fond look back at the life of Maurice Turnbull, the Glamorgan and England cricketer who was killed in Normandy in August 1944.
Tuesday, September 16th, 2014 - An evening with Toby Radford: Glamorgan's Head Coach reflects on his career in professional cricket as well as looking back on his first summer with the Welsh county.
Thursday, October 16th, 2014 - Opening Up with Roger Davis: Glamorgan's former opening batsman and off-spinner talks about his career in county cricket.
Wednesday, mid- November, 2014 (tbc) - An evening with Dean Cosker: Glamorgan's left-arm spinner reflects on his playing career with the Welsh county.
Wednesday, December 3rd, 2014 - New Road Memories: Tim Jones, the Archivist of Worcestershire CCC, evokes memories of one of county cricket's most picturesque venues.
Monday, mid-January, 2015 (tbc) - An evening with Tony Cottey: The former Glamorgan and Sussex batsman reflects on his career in county cricket.
Tuesday, February 17th, 2015 - An evening with Tony Lewis: the former Glamorgan and England captain looks back on his playing career in county and Test cricket, as well as his work as a broadcaster and writer.
Thursday, March 5th, 2015 - How the Ashes nearly came to Cardiff: Club Archivist and Museum Curator, Andrew Hignell reviews events of 1905 when Glamorgan made their first bid to host an England-Australia Test Match.
All talks start at 7.30pm.
Tickets for current Glamorgan members cost £3 in advance or £4 on the door on the night. For non-members, it's £4 in advance or £5 on the door (Price includes complimentary tea and coffee).
