Travel Information for Glamorgan's One-Day Cup trip to Welbeck CC

Glamorgan start their Royal London One-Day Cup campaign away to Notts Outlaws at Welbeck Cricket Club on Sunday 26th July.
Preparations at the out ground are well underway as Notts' host their first out-ground fixtures for 11 years - a 45-over league match against Durham in Cleethorpes in 2004.

This match-day guide contains all the information you need to ensure maximum enjoyment from your day out at Welbeck.

Hours Of Play

Gates open at 9am, with start of play scheduled for 10:30am. The first innings will take place between 10.30am and 2pm, before a 45 minute interval. The second innings will then commence from 2.45pm until 6.15pm.

Ticket Information & Car Parking

General admission is priced at £10 per day, with a £5 charge for parking. Entry and parking is free to Nottinghamshire Members.

Seating

Welbeck Cricket Club provides an out-ground cricket watching experience with a grass bank around the majority of the perimeter of the playing area. A picnic rug may, therefore, be all you need to enjoy the match in this setting.

A quantity of fold down chairs will be available at the ground and supporters are also welcome to bring along their own fold down seating.

Address And Directions By Car

Welbeck Cricket Club is situated at The John Fretwell Sporting Complex, Sookholme Road, Sookholme, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. NG19 8LL. Directions: Sookholme Road is the B6407 and is located off the A60 between Mansfield Woodhouse and Spion Kop. The ground is opposite the Hostess Restaurant and 500 metres from the junction with the A60.

Travelling By Train

East Midlands Trains have kindly offered to strengthen the following services from Nottingham to Mansfield Woodhouse on Sunday 26th July.

Sunday 26 July Nottingham to Mansfield Woodhouse. Departs: 08.07 and 9.42 Arrives: 08.47 and 10.22.

Mansfield Woodhouse to Nottingham. Departs: 17.36, 19.18 and 21.07

Standard fares for trains (adults) from Nottingham are from £6.30 return. Fares for groups of 10 or more are £4.65 per adult and £2.35 per child. Purchase via the EMT Sales Team on 03457 125 678 option 4.

Groupsave day tickets at a cost of £4.15 per adult if you travel in groups of 3, 4 or 5 are available.

For each Groupsave ticket, up to 4 children travel for £1.00 per child. (Maximum 8 children per booking). These can be purchased via the EMT Sales Team on 03457 125 678 option 4, or at a station booking office.

A free bus shuttle service will run to and from Welbeck Cricket Club to coincide with the above train services.

Travel By Coach

Limited places are available on the Glamorgan supporters coach for the match against Notts Outlaws at The John Fretwell Sporting Complex, Mansfield, leaving outside Sport Wales next to The SSE SWALEC at 6.00am and the Holiday Inn Express, the Coldra, at 6.25am. Price is £22 including coffee

Weekend hospitality packages are available priced at £70 per person, which includes a three-course meal during the interval of each day's play, along with free parking & entrance ticket.

Hospitality places are also on offer for a single day, priced at £40 per person, including a three-course meal and free parking. A table booking equates to 10-12 places.
