The Dutch selectors have chosen to stick with the same Netherlands squad that tasted recent success in the United Arab Emirates for this year's ICC World Twenty20 with Glamorgan's new signing Timm van der Gugten again included.
Peter Borren will captain the squad for the tournament in India, to be held in March-April.
This group has shown an immense amount of commitment to what we are trying to achieve on the field of play, and continued playing our brand of cricket. After a great season with Canterbury, the addition of Logan van Beek can only mean added value to the squad and we look forward to having him back, said Anton Roux, the Netherlands head coach.
The Netherlands, who beat England in the 2009 edition of the ICC World T20, will have good memories of the event. In 2014 as well, it chased down 190 in 13.5 overs against Ireland to qualify for the Super 10s, where it again defeated England.
The team will depart on 17 February to prepare in Bangalore and Mohali. It is drawn in Group A, along with Bangladesh, Ireland and Oman. If it finishes first in the group, it will join Group 2 for the Super 10s stage, along with India, Australia, New Zealand and Pakistan.
The side begins its campaign against Bangladesh (March 9), followed by games against Oman (March 11) and Ireland (March 13), all to be played in Dharamsala.
Squad: Wesley Barresi, Logan van Beek, Peter Borren (captain), Mudassar Bukhari, Ben Cooper, Timm van der Gugten, Vivian Kingma, Ahsan Malik, Paul Meekeren, Roelof van der Merwe, Stephan Myburgh, Max O'Dowd, Michael Rippon, Pieter Seelaar and Sikander Zulfiqar.
