Vitality Blast Cricket Club Scheme closes on Tuesday 30th May – Act now to raise funds for your club
Glamorgan Cricket’s Vitality Blast Cricket Club Scheme has already supported a number of local cricket clubs including Mountain Ash Cricket Club and Aberdare Cricket Club who both received visits from Glamorgan players as part of the initiative.
Children at Mountain Ash Cricket Club got the chance to play the sport they love with Billy Root and Jamie McIlroy. While Tom Bevan and Andy Gorvin visited Aberdare Cricket Club earlier this week.
Guy Browett, Mountain Ash Cricket Club Ambassador said:
"It was a great evening, and our children really enjoyed it. Billy and Jamie also took the Mountain Ash CC jersey with them, to get it signed by the entire Glamorgan Team.
We appreciate the initiative from Glamorgan Cricket, thank you!"
We are also looking forward to visiting Pontarddulais who are our final winners from the club incentive scheme soon.
Glamorgan’s first Vitality Blast home game will take place at 6.30pm on Friday, 2nd June and Wales’ only first-class County has been offering all local clubs the opportunity to retain 50% of ticket revenues from orders made through its Cricket Club Incentive Scheme, which can be put towards kit, improving clubhouse facilities, travel to fixtures and much more.
