Graham Wagg was happy with Glamorgan\'s progress on Day One of the Specsavers County Championship match against Leicestershire.
Wagg hit 64 off 110 balls to propel Glamorgan to a competitive total of 348 after they won the toss and elected to bat.
Chris Cooke, Will Bragg and David Lloyd also made fifties for the Welsh County, who recovered from 133/5 to gain a slight edge at the end of the first day of the Championship season.
And Wagg was confident his team had enough runs on the board, providing they can bowl well tomorrow.

He said: "It was a good day for Glamorgan. After we saw off the new ball it turned into a good cricket wicket and I thought we played extremely well – David Lloyd played very well – but I think there's lots of hard work to come tomorrow."
Wagg again contributed valuable lower order runs, adding 98 with Lloyd and 63 with Craig Meschede, and said Glamorgan's positive mindset had been crucial.
He added: "We would have taken 348 this morning. I was quite happy with how I played, we wanted to have a positive mindset and it certainly helps us to play that way.
"We bat so deep in this team so we are able to go out there and express ourselves with the backing of Robert Croft and Jacques Rudolph. It's paid off again today and I hope it pays off (in the) second innings as well."
Glamorgan now face a day in the field, with the aim of taking 10 Leicestershire wickets and getting a first innings lead.
Wagg added: "We've got to go out there and bowl Leicestershire out for less than 348. We've got some fantastic bowling and it's not going to be a pitch where we can bowl them out for 100 – it isn't that type of wicket.
"It's going to be a long toil tomorrow but if we put the ball in the right areas, we can take 10 wickets."
The second day of Glamorgan's match versus Leicestershire in the Specsavers County Championship resumes at 11am tomorrow at The SSE SWALEC.
