Wagg in for Meschede against Lightning

Graham Wagg returns to spearhead the Glamorgan attack for the Welsh county's final limited overs game of the season against Lancashire Lightning in the Royal London One-Day Cup at Old Trafford tomorrow (2pm scheduled start).
Wagg comes in for Craig Meschede who is rested alongside Michael Hogan as the Welsh county will again give a number of young players, particularly in the bowling department, the opportunity to gain first-team experience in the format.

After scoring a third century in five innings in the 50-over competition and with almost 800 runs in one-day cricket already under his belt this year Colin Ingram will be aiming to continue his good form to finish the season, whilst Chris Cooke retains the gloves and batsmen Jeremy Lawlor and James Kettleborough are again included in the 12-man squad.

When you play at the big Test grounds against the big sides you like to think everyone is up for it and are keen to get their season individual stats up, said Toby Radford.

Graham Wagg comes in for the Lancashire game, although Michael Hogan will miss it as we hope to have him really fresh for the Friday championship match at Old Trafford.

Our focus is on the Championship towards the end of this season and from a club point of view, we hope to finish the season as high up as we can, in the top 3 or 4 of the league table.

We'd love to move forward in a place where we could add a couple of seamers to our attack and potentially next year we would be able to rotate bowlers.

We've had to play Michael Hogan, Graham Wagg, Craig Meschede pretty much in every game this season, they've played T20, 50-over and four day games and we've played against a lot of sides with 20, 21 or 22 players.

They can then rest players and bring them in fresh for different competitions and we haven't had that luxury, so if we can sign one or two at the back end of this season we will be in a better place next year.

Glamorgan are in 8th position in the Group B table on 2 points, whilst Lancashire are one of four teams on 7 points vying for a quarter-final place with net run rate likely to be decisive.
