Mark Wallace took his 1,000th dismissal for Glamorgan 1st XI when he caught Alex Blake during the Welsh county's Royal London One-Day Cup Match against the Kent Spitfires at The SSE SWALEC.
The long-serving gloveman came into this match with 696 dismissals to his name in first-class cricket, 79 in Twenty20 cricket, plus 222 in List A one-day games. He duly added three more dismissals to his tally by catching Joe Denly, and stumping Sam Billings, before pouching Blake to reach this coveted milestone.
Eifion Jones is the only other Glamorgan wicket-keeper to reach this landmark.
