Glamorgan captain Jacques Rudolph was unwavering in believing his team can bounce back, after losing by 10 wickets to Sussex Sharks.
Chris Nash and Luke Wright hit fifties for the Sharks after Glamorgan's batting lineup faltered in the first innings, scoring 115/9 largely thanks to a knock of 45 from 42 balls from Chris Cooke.
Rudolph refused to be downhearted after the defeat, but says the team must learn from their mistake if they are to regain their winning form in the NatWest T20 Blast this season.
He said: I thought it was our worst display this season. But it is important for the team to try and stick together. This campaign is all about momentum. We had good momentum with three wins previously but I think we just lost a little bit today.
The skipper also was keen to play down the role of the SSE SWALEC pitch, after seeing his top order succumb to the bowling of Sussex's Ollie Robinson, whose opening spell of 4-0-15-3 helped sink the hosts.
The pitch was a little bit two-paced but I don't think the pitch was the reason why we played poorly today. The pitch was fine but we batted poorly and we were down very early, said the South African. I thought Chris Cooke played well, as well as Wayne Parnell.
Rudolph and his team will now concentrate on the LV= County Championship encounter with Leicestershire, starting on Monday at the SSE SWALEC.
Rudolph added: We've got a four day game this week against Leicestershire, we've just got to try and get that momentum back.
With a hectic summer schedule, Glamorgan will now try to recover their sparkling form, which saw them romp to three consecutive championship wins and home T20 Blast triumphs over Middlesex and Somerset.
He added: I think from our previous experience playing county cricket the most difficult thing is to keep yourselves mentally fresh. Some guys prefer to take a little break away from the game and its up to us guys as leadership, to manage that.
It's one of those where I'll be sitting on my couch tonight wondering what just happened. We're not going to win every game, but as long as individuals and the team take something from this, we can only move forward.
The defeat leaves Glamorgan 7th in the South Group table, just a point off the quarter-final qualification places.
