England overcame a Mumbai XI in their final warm-up match ahead of the ICC World Twenty20, despite David Willey taking a hat-trick for the opposition.
Willey, along with James Vince, Jos Buttler and Adil Rashid, lined up for the opposition as all 15 members of England's traveling party were given a run-out ahead of their first game of the tournament against West Indies on Wednesday.
And all four made an impact, although it was Willey's hat-trick in the last over of England's innings which stole the headlines.
Joe Root's 34-ball 48 underpinned an England total of 177 for eight, with English players affecting seven of their compatriots' dismissals.
Local 20-year-old Jay Bista got the Mumbai chase off to a strong start with 51 at the top of the order, but after Vince and Buttler had threatened to get Mumbai over the line, Reece Topley and Chris Jordan bowled with great skill at the death to secure a 14-run win.
England, who chose to bat, began brightly with Jason Roy and Alex Hales guiding them to 55 without loss from their first five overs.
Rashid, who collected three wickets in the warm-up win against New Zealand, dismissed Roy for 32 with his third ball as a reverse-paddle ended up in the hands of Topley at short third-man.
Hales soon followed, caught and bowled by Rashid for 38, although skipper Eoin Morgan gained a modicum of revenge over the leg-spinner with a big six into the stands.
Morgan was run out for 11 by Rashid, before Ben Stokes and Root put on a fourth-wicket stand of 69. Stokes smacked Mumbai's Shardul Thakur for six before attempting one big shot too many as he picked out mid-off next ball for 30.
Sam Billings became Thakur's second scalp, caught behind by Buttler, before Willey's final-over antics.
Root was caught in deep, Moeen Ali skied an effort into the hands of Mumbai wicketkeeper Buttler and Jordan then picked out Bista on the cover fence.
Jordan's first two overs with the ball saw him concede 20 runs as Bista and Sheryas Iyer added 57 before the latter picked out Jordan off Liam Plunkett's last ball of the powerplay.
Vince made a well-compiled 45 from 38 balls, and although Bista picked out Topley off Moeen, the Hampshire captain and Buttler looked to be on course when 42 runs were needed from the last four overs.
But Jordan's second two-over spell went for just 14 runs and he yorked Vince and Buttler, with Topley finishing with 2-26 at the other end to ensure England finished as comfortable winners.
