October 17th will see the first of the popular series of winter talks for 2019/20 take place in CC4 Museum of Welsh Cricket.

“The Boys of 1969” will be a nostalgic look back fifty years to the Daffodil-golden summer of 1969 with Glamorgan’s second Championship title, plus the start of Sunday League.

The evening will include the reminiscences of Roger Davis, plus filmed interviews with other members of the Championship-winning squad as well as archive footage from the dramatic home games against Middlesex and Essex at Swansea, as well the title-clinching game against Worcestershire which saw Tony Lewis’ team lift the county crown on their home patch at Sophia Gardens.

Tickets in advance for “The Boys of 1969”, taking place in the CC4 Museum of Welsh Cricket, cost £3 in advance for current Glamorgan members or £4 on the door for members on the night. For non-members, it’s £4 in advance or £5 on the door (Price includes complimentary tea and coffee).
