John Derrick: Fundraising Dinner

2 Nov 2016 | Cricket
Former Glamorgan player and coach, and current Cricket Wales Performance Manager, John Derrick underwent an operation to remove a brain tumour, and is currently receiving treatment to assist his long-term recovery.

Since August, the reaction of the cricket family in Wales and further afield has been remarkable. Cricket Wales, Glamorgan Cricket and the Professional Cricketers Association (PCA) have been inundated on social media with messages of goodwill and support.

With this in mind, a Fundraising Dinner is being held at The SSE SWALEC on Thursday 8th December with all proceeds going to help John in his recovery through the PCA Benevolent Fund. Tickets are £45 per head with the evening consisting of a three-course sit-down meal and entertainment from Geoff Miller OBE, one of the best after-dinner speakers in the country.

Please contact Holly Littleton on 02920 419320 / holly.littleton@glamorgancricket.co.uk to book your tickets. Cheques should be made payable to Glamorgan CCC.
