Glamorgan all-rounder Craig Meschede has received his first international call-up to represent Germany at the upcoming T20 Men’s World Cup Europe Final 2019 Qualifiers tournament.
Meschede will join fellow county pros Ollie Rayner (Middlesex) and Dieter Klein (Leicestershire) in playing for Germany in Guernsey from 15th-19th June 2019
The T20 Men’s World Cup Europe Final 2019 winner will then head to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifier in the UAE in October and November, where a place in the T20 World Cup in Australia is on the line. All the games from Guernsey will be live-streamed on ICC channels.
Meschede qualifies for Germany through his father, and in 2018 visited the town of Meschede in Germany.
